I’ll be bouncing off the other two, not a review of Spirotherm itself, but I also was close to being scammed, same thing: applied for Administrative Clerk position on indeed, did a text interview through signal, with an “ Angela Womak” I was sent a check to take for a signing bonus and use the remaining to buy “ work materials” and I took the check to my bank and they told me it was a bad check. Fake check scheme, watch out.
DISCLAIMER; this has nothing to do with spirotherm co. This is regarding the huge hiring scam that's ongoing. Seems like this hiring scam was pretty huge. I was also really close to being extorted, and I am so sorry they have to go through this. I'm sure Spirotherm makes great industrial products. But just contributing to the PSA THIS COMPANY IS NOT HIRING AS OF MAY 17TH 2023 BE CAREFUL OF SCAMS. I would like to bounce off of what Georgia posted and let people know that it is indeed a scam. If you’re supposed to contact an “Angela Womak” via the signal app don’t even bother wasting your time. Checks are supposed to print out watermarks when copied and the check did not at all. Blank everywhere besides the text. How awful to use a lesser known company to scam folks out of their time and money.
Not only is SPIROTHERM A SCAM. They claim to be hiring at super high rates to get people interested, send a check and then I assume they take the money once it's in your account. Do NOT trust these people they are not legitimate.
