I really wanted to enjoy this place, but it just wasn’t a good experience for me. The staff was kind and explained how things worked, but the setup at the salad bar is poorly designed. I’m 5’2½”, and I couldn’t reach the food on the back row at all. When I stepped around to get what I couldn’t reach, I was sternly told not to be back there. Buffet had almost everything you would want. Good ole southern food. Fish options set it off nicely. Price was amazing. I forgot to take pics next time I will slow down to take a pic or two.
This place is where I go when I need a home-cooked meal. It feels like sitting down at your grandma's house for a sunday dinner. While there are no thrills when it comes to the establishments decor, the food is truly worth going for. Its not a place you go for innovation or trendiness, but a place you go for comfort and familiarity.
This used to be the best restaurant but quality has fallen drastically. Most meats were overcooked. All the veggies now taste canned. The fried chicken and baked salmon are still excellent. The fried grouper was fantastic as well as the salad bar. The service is excellent. But no veggie was good and the meats dry. This place is off my list now :(.
