KARIJINI PILBARA Thanks Richard so very much for a great trip. Everything was well done and ran smoothly. Seeing Karijini, being immersed in the energy and walking in the gorges has been a long held dream for me and i wasnt disappointed. Seeing the iron ore process from Tom Price thru to Port Hedland was most enlightening as was Woodside's gas infrastructure at Dampier. 80Mile beach was spectacular. I have just completed the Pilbara Karijini tour with Richard from Spirit Safaris and I was very impressed. The accommodation in every stop was comfortable and well appointed, the breakfasts and dinners were superb, and Richard made sure to take everyone's needs into account with our picnic lunches. Had an amazing 4 day adventure to Lake Eyre with Richard, Lynn and Adrian, and 12 fellow travellers. Lake Eyre is spectacular but in the middle of nowhere, photos don’t do it justice. Richard and co were very accommodating and easy going, nothing was a trouble. Small group format in 3 vehicles suited me.
The tour was great, just a small group in a Hilux 4 wheel drive. Lynne was incredibly knowledgeable about the areas we visited and a really solid safe driver. Such an amazing experience to see Kati Thanda in flood highly recommend this tour company.
