Scam artist! At first, the process seemed great. Based on his reputation in Facebook groups, I trusted him enough to buy the car unseen. He sent photos and videos, and everything looked solid. But once I got the car, a lot of things didn’t add up. The “mostly stock” Supra wasn’t really stock. It had a full repaint that wasn’t disclosed, and it’s not even OEM color. I want to share my experience as it closely aligns with another customer’s that recently purchased a white mk4 Supra. I purchased a JZX100 Mark II through Basit. I wish I wasn’t leaving this review however I believe my experience speaks to why I’m leaving a 1 star review. Disappointed is an understatement. Getting a Supra was a dream of mine since I was a kid, but buying one from Spirit of Nineties turned out to be a big disappointment. I purchased a 1996 white Supra from them and experienced multiple issues shortly after taking delivery. The turbo was defective, and later I learned from a reputable performance shop (MECH TECH Institute in Orlando) that several components on the car were poorly installed or mismatched.
