Dr Kopacz performed spinal surgery fusion on me L3/L4 L5/S1 and failed miserably! He had me suffering in extreme pain for months stating that he was not knowledgeable enough about pain medication to make a qualified decision on what dosage he should prescribe and was not willing to do the necessary research to educate himself on the subject matter. Since my surgery which took place in 2013, I've been disabled and suffer from tremendous amounts of pain every day!! I would NOT recommend Dr Kopacz to anyone looking for a qualif... read more

Beware !!!!! Had a spinal fusion from this guy and his partner ... 13 years ago I was 29 years old ..i didn't want to have the surgery but he told me that in order for me to be pain free I had to have the surgery ! I asked him if it didn't work can the screws come out ? He said yes .. So with that being said I had the fusion L4 -L5 .. The worse mistake of my life I'm in so much pain .. He kept trying to send me back to work but my job didn't have light duty ..i asked why was he trying to send me back to work when he told me ... read more

I do not understand some of the reviews posted here. Anyone who has suffered from back/spine issues knows that treatment is far from an exact science. Dr. Kopacz spent considerable time going over treatment options with the risks of each choice. We even went over "what if" scenarios to see what the next few moves would be with each treatment decision.
