My daughter Nicole was born with Spina Bifida and had Arnold Charii Malformation III, L1 - L5. Chari caused her vocal cords to paralyze closed and she ended up with a tracheostomy until she was 3years old. She walked for a little while with braces and a walker but her upper body strength was not great. So we gave her the choice of what she wanted to do. Keep on trying or go with the wheelchair. Well 12 years from today my daughter Jannat was born with this lump on her back and as amother from third world i was disappointed,she had Spina Bifida which at time i didnt knew. Now i am proud of what she is and can be with this congenital deffect.
