Recommendedhi y'all. I was born with spina bifida occulta and I've dealt with weaknesses in my legs and pelvic and back pain and hydrocephalus and incontinence issues . but it doesn't stop me from living full filled life with nursing career. and it doesn't stop me from having 4 kids raising children on my own. it's a challenge but worth it.

I have an 8 year old daughter with spina bífida she had her spine repair and closed 24 hours after she was born she does not have feeling in her legs and always wonder if some of the ppl who have spina bífida and walk have feeling?shes starting to get affected by her condition and it has been by far the hardes thing I wish she would be able to communicate with kids her age and her condition

As an Adult with SB I know they are advocating for the adult population as well. The kids are advocated and well. But they will grow up to be adults someday.
