My husband has been coming here for 30 years. He loves this Doctor. I’ve meet him a couple times. Seems nice . I’ve been frustrated with him the last few years. I just didn’t feel he was attending to my husband’s needs, but my husband trusted him so I tried to as well. Today is the last day my husband will ever see this doctor. My husband has had a cough for the last two years that comes and goes. He has seen Dr. Spilker for it on at lest 4 different occasions that I can remember. Went in today his blood pressure was reading... read more
They have a few very rude employees (Lisa especially). Dr. pushes political issues into service. Mismanagement of case work and they charge to fix it. Difficult to work with on medication refills. Most of the front office staff are very nice though.
He is indeed a wonderful family physician - very easy to talk with and always has my best interest at heart. He goes the extra mile for his patients.
When I say that Dr. Spilker is one in a million it goes beyond that. His caring and compassion is like none other. In this day and age there is probably no other doctor that will take the time to call his patients after hours if a concern arises that the office staff feels the need. He DOES not have a push number 1 for ??. push number 2 for???, he chooses to have a courteous and caring staff answer the phones. I have been a patient for over twenty years.
I can't afford medical insurance, so I pay out of my pocket. Spilker has been helpful finding cheaper alternatives for blood work, screening tests, etc. that saved me $$ on tests I needed. He's cool about letting me pay my balance in pieces when I can't do it all at once (many Drs aren't). He's helped me with digestive problems I developed & now the problems are solved! He detected some blockage in my carotids. When I had told him about some $ problems one Dec., he didn't charge me for my visit!
I called Dr Spilker's office and needed an appointment. Although they didn't have one available that day but on Wednesday the person helping me was intune to my needs. I saw Dr Spilker on Wednesday and before he had even seen me he already knew what was wrong with my by my cough. He has a charming "bedside" manner and is very personable with his patients, his nurse Lori is just as personable, I found my new family physician! Love him and would definitely recommend him!!!
I love Dr. Spilker and his staff. It feels like an old-school type of office. He's the only doctor, but I have never had any issues getting in when I need to see him. He is easy to talk to and takes the time you need. He is both conservative with his prescriptions, but also doesn't hesitate when he sees them as needed. His nurses and office staff are also all lovely and caring. This is just a small (but great) little office with wonderful people.
Very nice and easy to talk to
