Get directionsThis place is worth the drive for anyone not local. It is such a work of passion by the owners and they are awesome. Even when they don't have something they'll find it for you. The locally sourced things are great, and their in house food is wonderful. I love Spice 320!
I stopped and was greeted with cookies and a warm, friendly smile-I walked in because my mom wanted me to pick up some of the chowder they had advertised outside and to my surprise they had a lot of things to look at inside and it smelled so good in there-I got the New England clam chowder and it was the best clam chowder I ever had-I’m waiting for them to open tomorrow so I can go back for more-I definitely will be shopping here more-I highly recommend it to anyone who has not tried it out yet or just visited to see all the... read more
You might not expect this tiny little spice shop to be the home of one of the best chefs in CT but it is. Alan Thayer used to be the head chef at one of CT's finest French restaurants. They have excellent prepared foods. Lovely gifts. Well worth a trip. The guys are so nice and excellent chefs. You will enjoy the visit and the food.
My wife and I stopped in because we hadn't been there before. We bought some of their refrigerated soups, some scones, pickled garlic, a ginger and molasses cookie, dill mustard, and maybe a couple more things. It's a very well stocked place and so far we've been very happy with what we bought. The soups are delicious, the cookie was really good. If you like scones, I think I would go for fresh over frozen and they only have fresh ones two days a week. If you haven't been here before, it's definitely worth a trip!
