Don't Waste Your Money – Worst meal ever! My husband and I stayed in the city last weekend and decided to go here for dinner. The service was beyond terrible (in fact our waitress was also working at the service bar!). Aside from being extremely slow and never being asked for drink refills, my appetizer was wrong, my husband's entree was wrong, all the food was cold and looked like it was sitting out for hours. AWFUL!

Poor judgment – As a frequent diner during lunch at Mc&S, I have always had an enjoyable experience. However, two holiday night experiences have me rethinking. As Taco Bell is to Mexican - A joke – This place is extremely dissappointing, and it is very expensive. If you go here you will have spent a bunch for nothing. If your boss wants to take you there tell him to save the company money. I had an Oyster salad and I think it had 3 Oysters and a bunch of chopped tomatoes and onions. There was no seasoning. Great food – Today was my first visit to this location and I was impressed. I went for lunch and ordered the blackened catfish sandwich. The waitress took my request for lightly blackened and it came exactly that way. It was delightful. The menu is very well rounded and has items for non seafood folks. Service was excellent

food and service – My family and I visited this location last night. The server was very soft spoken and not enthusiastic as I would like her to have been. We ordered the crab cake appetizer - very dry. I got the surf and turf, ordered the filet to be cooked medium, it was rare, the lobster tail was literally burned. My husband ordered the filet also to be cooked medium - it was rare. I've had Better for the price – I ordered a medium well steak, which came well done, and dry, no veggie selection, the blue crab cake was good but, way too small for their high prices. This is a sea food restaurant so when i ordered the calamari, they came to my table with calamari rings, not the real thing. There's better food at Ruth Chris right next door.

Best service – We went two times the week of Christmas. I thought we would get bad service because they were so busy but boy was I wrong. I think we had the best service at Jakes than we have had in a whole year anywhere else. And the crab was delicious!
