A fond reunion – Had not been to Jakes for many years - just too busy trying all of the new restaurants in PDX. However this weekend our plans changed last minute and our friend suggested Jakes and we were able to get a table. Started with a drink in the bar where the bartender (wish I caught his name) was excellent. Made my wife's favorite (Sidecar) perfectly and poured me a nice Black and Tan. Excellent service. Fresh Seafood with a View – I have frequented the Harborside for many years. It's right on the water at the South end of town. I have always found the staff and bartenders very helpful and attentive. The food is always fresh and served quickly. Matt and Kyle in the bar are always attentive and helpful. I think Matt's been there for 13 years now.

Excellent, Relaxing - Even on New Years Eve! – My BF and I went for dinner on New Years Eve last night which I normally like to stay away on "amateur night" on the town but had a wonderful evening. This was my first time at this location and even though I was expecting a harried, crazy atmosphere and staff it was not. out of control patrons – My mother and I went to the Cherry Hill location today for an early dinner and there were five "people" at the bar who thought they were outside. I have never been in a restaurant where the patrons were allowed to scream and yell at the tv to such a level that they could be heard in any corner of the establishment. Where was the manager? We often go to this restaurant as we enjoy their food and their bar is nicely stocked - but today's experience soured me on McCormick's and I don't see us going back... read more

The Best food in town!!! – I've eaten in some on the best restaurants in New York, San francisco and Washington DC and Mccormick and Schmick is better!! I eat there everytime I get a chance. Long live McCormick and Schmick.

Average service, average food, above average price – Not my fave for seafood in Raleigh. The shimp and grits are to die for. The bbq sauce compliments the dish perfectly. Overall its a good place to eat.

Yikes! – My friend and I went in for a quick bite to eat. We are both accustomed to nice restaurants and were looking forward to some quality for our choice. The meal was tasteful but the portions were laughable for the price. We only had bread delivered upon asking (the waiter said this is the new policy) and when our meal came (we split a halibut meal), we were served - in total - approximately 4 bites each of fish and 6-7 green beans.
