Excellent food and service – I went there tonight with my wife for dinner. Food was excellent; my wife didn't see anything she wanted on the menu so the chef cooked a custom shrimp meal. I ordered the crab and shrimp cakes for an appetizer and wow....that was one of the tastiest morsels ever eaten. Then I got the trio dish with a fillet mignon and king crab legs and a dessert of raspberry Creme brulee. I ate the crab legs first having gone there for seafood and all and I must say they were absolutely delicious. Cooked perfec... read more

Worst seafood – McCormicks dishes out the some of the worst seafood I have eaten. It is supposed to be a level above the Red Lobsters but even they have better fare. The food was greasy, the appetizers not appealing, the service was average and overall it is not worth at all.

Good seafood just a little pricey – The service was okay. Our waiter seemed like he was too busy with a larger group and was not very interested in serving our table of 2. The food was great. The seafood was fresh and well worth the price. But the highlight of the meal was definitely dessert. We had cheesecake that was to die for.

really good seafood, just kinda expensive – I had their clams and shrimp cocktail. My sister had a white fish (I forgot which one). Both cooked very well. very fresh. Clams were GREAT. However, for $9 you only get four pieces of Shrimp. They are very long and fresh, but for $9 you don't get a lot. I'd go back because the food is good, but it's a bit on the pricey side for me.

Good food & service – I had dinner here last night w/ a group of friends. I had the lobster bisque for my appetizer & live Maine lobster for my entree. The bisque was creamy, but lacked much lobster. Of course, it was only $4.95 so you can't expect much lobster in it. It was still pretty good though. There aren't too many ways to prepare a whole lobster so it's a matter of not messing it up. I thought my Maine lobster was very good. In addition to the good food, our waiter was very attentive. I would recommend this restauran... read more

Worst Dining Experience in Seattle – I admit, I can't be a good reviewer for McCormick & Schmick's because I'm not a seafood eater, but my dad can. My family and I went there on a weeknight and were seated at an old booth with ripped and torn apart seats. My mom and I ordered burgers, well done. What we got instead was a black, burnt piece of meat. I forced myself to eat it and was very disappointed in the service and the fact that the food quality was so poor, even though we were the only customers. How on earth can someone... read more

Clubby corporate restaurant draws seafood lovers with fresh daily catches and posh atmosphere. – In Short Upscale and sophisticated, this chain features art deco-inspired trappings such as dark wood, shiny brass and beveled glass. Servers clad in black and white weave through cocktailing couples and businessmen at the bar. The classic American, seasonally inspired seafood menu changes daily; specialties include starters of Dungeness crab cakes and oysters on the half shell, plus entrees like cedar plank-roasted salmon, saute... read more

waste of time – I was staying in the surrounding area when my hotel recommended this restaurant for excellent seafood. It happened to be my birthday and I had 2 other friends that flew into town to visit with me. When we first arrived it was 9:00 and we were told that the restaurant would be closing at 10, adament about putting us in the bar area "so we could stay as long as we wanted." It seemed as if immediately they were ready to be out of there and we were wasting their time. As we sat down our waitress was very irritate... read more

A Very Nice Experience. – My first time dining at Jakes Crawfish and everything was great. But I'm not that hard to please - I just want very good food with very good service in a nice atmosphere. And I got all of that. I also think that Jakes has an excellent menu (I had the grilled Steelhead - and I loved it!) I got what I expected - a very nice civilized meal. The waitress was perfect, the wine was good. Zero complaints here. My party was seated in the back room of the dining area, which was perfect. I think that the back... read more
