Terrible!!! – We decided to try their new location in Cherry Hill, NJ recently after only a week of opening.We arrived 10 minutes early and were told to have a drink at the bar and they would come get us in 10 min. The restaurant was crowded and very noisy. There was no place to check coats. You needed to put them behind your seat or on one of the "hooks" on the posts at the end of the booths. Good seafood with great service. – I've been to this restaurant on three occassions now; twice with a group of 12 or more from work, and once with my wife for her birthday. I gave the restaurant three stars only because when I ate there on the two occassions with the group, my food was excellent and was well seasoned. Excellent for Large Party Accommodations – I would highly recommend McCormicks for large party reservations! My office has about 15 people in it and I was in charge of our company "happy hour" in which I needed to reserve a room. Our other plans had dropped the DAY OF and I had to book a private room for only 6 hours from then! McCormicks catering planner, Rasa, was a great help and even pulled a few strings for me to lower the minimum a bit because our party was relatively small. Great Seafood, Amazing Service - Ask for Jonesy – Our first trip to M&S was on our anniversary in late April of 07; I made our reservation using opentable dot com and left a note that we were celebrating our 7th anniversary. Remarkably Average – With a great menu selection of fresh fish at a premium price, we were disappointed that the service, quality and presentation did not meet our expectations. We dined on shrimp appetizers that were overcooded, fresh fish entreees that were overcooked, overbuttered and underwhelming. The server was nice and attentive. Maybe it was just a bad night. The ambiance is very nice and is very comfortable.
Leaves a salty taste in my mouth, but I keep coming back. – I keep going back and hoping for something different but never leave 100% satisfied. My first visit was so awful, they've comp-ed me ever since. The food is hit-or-miss. Stick with the sandwiches at their Westlake property and have a seafood dinner at the downtown location - which has the best "McCormick's" food in Seattle. Mediocre food, outrageously priced – On a pleasant Saturday afternoon we wanted an enticing fish salad at Spenger's for which they were always known. Well, let me tell you we were in for a major disappointment. First, the crab cobb salad was served with wilted lettuce at room temperature, a very flat, tasteless experience. Great service, Lousy seating. – My Husband and I had made reservations for Valentines day. The atmosphere was nice I must admit though I was taken aback my the attire of a few of the guest. Business casual does not mean baseball caps and sweat suits, but I could be wrong :). The food was delicious, our waiter was exceptional. unimpressed and overpriced for dinner – After a delicious rare ahi appetizer, I ordered the seafood chowder that was just OK. My $20 scallop entree came with 3, 1" scallops that were overcooked. These small morsels of scallop were atop a "potato cake" which was uninteresting and undercooked! I actually tasted raw potato!
