Great Seafood – I felt prompted to write this review for two reasons: A) My family and I LOVE the food at Jake's Crawfish House and B) After reading the most recent review I felt the need to attempt to restore some dignity to the reputation of people from Louisiana. Come at 10pm & you'll be satisfied! – A much needed date night for me and my SO -- we have two little ones 3 and under so if we get a chance to get out, we try to live it up! In was a gorgeous day in Seattle so outdoor seating was a MUST! We decided on McCormick's on Lake Union. Great Seafood – I have been eating here since they came to Houston several years ago. You can always count on good, consistent and high-quality fish. They have the best oysters in Houston. The bar is also fun for happy hour.

Sorry Service – I had the pleasure of having a blind date on Saturday evening, and we both choose seafood and this restaurant. It was the worst service I have ever experienced, the waiter (S. Margert) was very rude and inattentive, she took to much time to respond to our table, and she was not that busy. The food was over priced 25.00 for a bowl of Cioppino that was over seasoned , 19.00 for a plate of fettuccini alfredo that was served luke warm, but adding insult to injury was I charged 8.00 for a glass of tea with not one... read more

Cocktail server was rude and a disaster, but food was okay. – Food was decent the broiled salmon, but the asian cocktail server was just rude and hideous. She had the most annoying voice, bad attitude, and bad hygiene. I don't believe they would let such a wreck be on the floor and serving food. Sadly I lost my appetite before I could order.

Bad service, Too expensive – Everytime I go here, the service gets worse. The drinks are overpriced and the food ..... well just forget it, I would prefer a can of tuna over the cold salmon sliver I was served. Saw the kitchen staff smoking outside, Not going back.
