They scammed me and quite a few others when they closed. Refused to give refunds and corporate never got back to me either
Avoid doing business with SPENGA at all costs. I bought a 10 session at the Pasadena location. I was told the sessions would be valid for one year. The Pasadena location then closed without notifying me. I reached out to SPENGA Pasadena through multiple platforms. I was only able to get a response through their Pasadena Instagram account (which has since been deleted). Their responses to me were very unprofessional. I started coming to SPENGA in 2019 shortly after they opened. I’ve enjoyed the classes and the instructors are all great, but my experience today was pretty disappointing. When I showed up there were no iPads to check-in on and no front desk staff to manually check-in people. With no way to check-in there were no bike assignments and so we weren’t able to see our zones during the spin portion of the workout. Listen the workout is fun, Joana is amazing. I have a big problem with their customer service and inconsistency. I was a member for a year and the turn around with both instructors and personnel is high. Haven’t been in months keep getting charged and they claim it’s because of policies but they never follow their own policy when it comes to retention. I just want to stop being charged $200 a month for something I don’t go to anymore and no one ever gets back to you. Haven’t been in since October, why is this still an issue ... read more
