Waited 1.5 hours for follow up appointment and finally had to leave the office because I had another appointment to get to.
This guy is rude, and he mis diagnosed my knee as having a meniscus tear in the red zone. That was April. He has not healed.... he refused to look at anything else telling me my insurance doesn’t pay like that. I told him charge me for 4 visits i will pay. And I call the insurance company with him in the room. They told me I can do all in one. He changed his story to this isn’t our policy. I wouldn’t trust him to cut open a cucumber let alone a human.
I've been to Dr. Wheeler twice, both times he was extremely rude and wouldn't listen to me. He was more concerned on pushing therapy on me and talking into his recorder. I would NOT recommend. I don't see how anyone could work for such a prick.
Poor time management, lack of caring and interest for patient best interest/needs/wants....poor listening skills..only interests in churning expensive therapy visits to further pad his own pockets....would NOT recommend.
I was very pleased with Dr. Wheeler. This was my first visit and I had a very short wait time. I was in and out in an hour, including time for x-rays in both knees, exam and cortisone shots. I found Dr.Wheeler to have a really great sense of humor which is very important to me. He was easy to talk with and answered all my questions. I have no complaints at all. Everyone I came in contact with from the receptionist to x-ray technician was personable and polite.
I know that it's a common fact that most Doctors have little to no bedside manners but Wheeler takes the cake, he is rude arrogant and completely uncaring. He talks at patients not to them, he tells you what he does NOT want to hear and what he does NOT care about. When you attempt to answer his questions he screams that is NOT WHAT I ASKED! Dr. Wheeler performed surgery on my teenage daughters knee and she has had continued problems. While I like Dr. Wheeler, I would not recommend him to others based on my personal experience.
Great Dr. very friendly, Very funny, Makes you feel right at home. Had surgery on my ACL and it is great! My grand mother sees him my mom brother husband and son. He will always be our personal dr. He also has a great PA.
