Got my oil changed (at a different place) and they didn’t reset the maintenance light. Called Spencer’s thinking that I had an actual problem, the person on the phone walked me through how to reset the light myself! Friendly, kind, patient, and seemed genuinely happy to help me solve the problem myself over the phone. I’m always worried that I’ll be taken advantage of with car repairs because I know very little about cars and am a woman. This 5 minute phone call has converted me to their shop for any future car repairs!!!
Responsive and transparent. I took my old car in for a diagnostic and they quickly confirmed the issue I was having; quotes for repair were the most reasonable I’d been given. When I decided to get a new car instead of fixing the old one, they were able to provide advice for receiving protection measures on it.
I needed some complex work on our 2010 Ford Explorer, since it had thrown 7 codes all at once. Spencer Auto was suggested by someone I trust and respect, so I followed through. The entire process with them was among the best experience with car repair that I've had in over 50 years. he problem turned out to be a computer, which needed replacing, even though they're no longer being made.
