Best car Mechanics in town. They are very honest and knowledgeable! Highly recommend.
Spencer Auto Repair Shop has been my mechanic for the better part of a decade. They are honest, reliable and fair. John and Darby are gentlemen and scholars (very intelligent men) and if you're good to them, they'll be good to you. If you're a kind and honest person, you'll appreciate the Spencer way of running a business.
I had a bunch of maintenance work i wanted done. I initially chose them after shopping around because they gave a great quote, but the 5 stars is because the mechanics i talked to were kind and respectful without any bs, the work was done super fast, and my car is running great. I drove it about 85 miles today and it was running perfect as ever. They seem like a very honest and legit shop and I'll definitely return for future services my car needs.
Got my oil changed (at a different place) and they didn’t reset the maintenance light. Called Spencer’s thinking that I had an actual problem, the person on the phone walked me through how to reset the light myself! Friendly, kind, patient, and seemed genuinely happy to help me solve the problem myself over the phone. I’m always worried that I’ll be taken advantage of with car repairs because I know very little about cars and am a woman. This 5 minute phone call has converted me to their shop for any future car repairs!!!
