Dr. Speir was the on call doctor during my labor at Hoag, and I am incredibly grateful she was there. I met her hours into a long and difficult labor, and she immediately made me feel safe and confident in her care. She is brilliant, calm, and extremely compassionate…exactly what I needed in the middle of a stressful labor and delivery. I truly believe she is the reason I was able to avoid a c-section.
Never reviewed my old medical records that I brought with me. I told her about pain I've been having, and just told me to use birth control. Not to mention one I've never used before. She never explained how to use it. The appointment lasted at most a total of 5 min. Doesn't care, just run through patients. Worst feeling of waiting for months to see a proper specialist to be treated this way. Not to mention being charged for an arm and a leg to be seen for 5 minutes and dismissed.
