I scheduled a same-day appointment at Steamboat Medical specifically to test for the flu and pneumonia after I had Covid a few weeks ago. He completely dismissed anything I said and did not test me for any viruses. He said I had long Covid and to see my PCP…that urgent care was not what I needed. I am immunocompromised, which I told him and he sent me home without any treatment. I ended up with a fever of 103 and in the hospital, less than 6 hours after I went to him.
Told Chris about my health issues & he huffed & puffed then said "can we hurry this up? I have 20 people I need to see after you ..." Maybe he should go work elsewhere if he hates his job & people so much
Dr. Speer was by far the worst doctor I have seen. I have been to him twice through urgent care and he has done nothing for me. It is safer to wait and see a different doctor then go into urgent care if he is working. Dr. Speer came into my room and proceeded to examine me without washing his hands or introducing himself. Dr. Speer might be the most uninterested arrogant doctor I have ever met. I sat down with him to establish care after moving to steamboat. I told him I had a list of issues to discuss and he told me straight away that he didn't have time to discuss everything. He couldn't even make eye contact while listening or talking to me. Sure enough, he made no effort to discuss even close to everything.
