We've done business with Speer for 14 years. They installed our central a/c and have been there for us every time we've called. This last call was for a routine maintenance call. We had a problem following the call and they responded same day to resolve it. Friendly and reliable.
We had SPEER install 2 ac units 14 years ago. Today we needed a capacitor replaced in one of the units. The tech that came from another HVAC company noticed the outside fan was blowing hot air inside, the wrong way. SPEER installed the fan wiring incorrectly. The implications for that are not desirable. I had to spend $250 additionally to have the tech reverse their error. Stay away from them as this can happen to you. Our AC Compressor quit on us on the hottest day of the year, heading into a busy 4th of July holiday weekend. I thought for sure no one would be available, but they had a tech at our house within an hour of calling. They were super friendly, and replaced our capacitor in about ten minutes flat. Got our AC back up in running in no time. Customer service was also very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!
This is an very well deserved, but OVERDUE review. Speer Air was generous enough during the late summer/early fall to volunteer their expertise, services and manpower with the installation of a 2-ton Fujitsu Airstage in my raised ranch home thru the Military Makeover. Although I, nor my family were allowed to be present for the installation, its when our home was finally revealed to us I immediately noticed the new HVAC and the venting to each room. Scheduling service is not working for me. I call in April and they are still sending out contracts then I call in mid-May and they are still sending out contracts. I ask to schedule my annual service and the response is that they are now scheduling service calls for July. I don't recall that I even made the schedule last year.
