I unfortunately had the displeasure of dealing with Omar and his team at Speer Air. He first came to my home for a diagnostic, then returned the next day to swap out the central fan for $3,200. He insisted the check be written directly to him personally “to save on taxes,” which raised serious red flags and felt like he was stealing from the company. Speer Air installed a new central Air unit this spring. Installation crew was always courteous, on time, and professional. During the summer I had an issue with the A/C and a tech was always sent out same day or next morning. The tech, Omar, treated the work like I was family. On the Friday of a holiday weekend he stayed till 10:00 PM to make sure A/C was running optimally.

Omar and Sam arrived on a Sunday morning to address a problem that had not been completely resolved a few days earlier. The issue was remedied and we cannot thank them enough for their willingness to arrive on a Sunday. It is very apparent both techs take their work seriously. In addition, we appreciated their honesty and politeness. I would not hesitate in requesting their services in the future.

Complete scammers. When you call them, they will arrive to your home. The technician that comes will say that he is unable to work on your particular type of AC and will recommend that you call his "friend" to complete the work. The "friend" will show up, make a complete mess of your house, and then never show back up again. The company will simply refuse any blame, and say that this is not their problem. I would strongly suggest looking at other HVAC companies who are honest and trustworthy.

Update: Speer Air admits Omar is a “valued member of our team.” If so, the work he did for my parents, which caused thousands in damage, is Speer Air’s responsibility. You cannot call someone a team member while denying accountability. My parents called Speer Air directly, and a dispatched technician referred them to Omar — this started with a call to your office. Your response ignores that Omar left my elderly parents with a broken AC, water damage, and $3,200 lost. Saying it wasn’t “in your records” does not change the har... read more
