Went to wash blankets, since cold weather is coming. I am not a fequent visitor of this facility. But I have used it before. The previous times were good, placed seemed busy and well cared for. This time was different. Several machines out if order. I was over charged for a wash. The machine said $8, and I was charged $8.25, plus an additional $3.25, which my bank declined.
This place is extremely dirty and the machines are smelly and moldy. No bathroom and vending machine is out of order. I filled 2 machines with my clothes and neither card reader worked.

Not well kept, the machines smell of musty smell, card readers don't work half the time, today the faulty machine adding quarters failed to count money, $4 wash just cost me $7. The facility is ghetto
I have come to NH every Summer and always liked going to this place weekly. Things are different this year. Every week there’s another washer out of order in addition to several that have been out of order for some time. This week I decided I had enough. I found a great place in Concord that was pristine and had all new equipment plus a separate room for folding and relaxing. Bonus was a restroom on premises which Alton does not have.
