Needed 1 piece of 1.75" steel tube with a .12 wall. After making the trip to the other side of town I was told they had a $50.00 minimum. I don't recall seeing that on their website. As a matter of fact, when I punched into their website what I was looking for, it told me it would cost $4.44. I asked if they had a grab and go shelf with smaller scraps and I was told no, "but if I could, I would just give it to you". Horrible customer experience. Been doing business with this company for many many years and gentleman couldn't pull a 10in piece of aluminum drop stock for me within 20 min to close..... Not too Speedy......

I requested a quote from this steel supplier and asked if they could source the steel in the United States due to both our customer requirements and our own core beliefs. I was assured that this would happen and I would receive both the Mill Test Report and a Quality Assurance Report from Speedy Metals that support that the material passed all criteria. Upon receiving the steel I was given no paperwork and had to wait two days calling them everyday to even get an answer that wasn’t voicemail. When I finally talked to someone... read more
