I WAS a long term customer of spedee in Vinton VA until TODAY. I have three cars I trusted them with. Today I went and asked to change the oil in my Jeep and the guy told me it would be $100. I always get the regular oil change and have for years without any issues. Then he proceeded to yell at my husband who is a disabled marine veteran and said he wouldn't touch the Jeep without us having the $100 oil change so we left I will never go back. The prices here are obviously inflated with markups on oil, but the service is great and their inspection is helpful. They alerted me to the state of my rear tires and I got them replaced the same day elsewhere. They saved me from a potential mishap and I appreciate it. The staff was polite, quick, and I have no complaints about the experience despite the tad bit excessive price. I was met by a friendly greeter who asked which services I needed. He Drove my car into the bay. I received the services I asked for without a high pressure sell on repairs that were not needed. Process went quickly. I so appreciate being treated respectfully and not being talked down too because of being a female.
