I ordered a set of Oberon custom clutch and brake levers. I was told they would take 6-8 weeks. Although they took a bit longer I was in communication with Speed Kings and after assuring me they would be shipped I received a tracking number and next day delivery. I received them just as promised. I learned there was some back order issues due to Speed Kings re location. Do not buy ANYTHING from this company. They put items for sale on their website, then tell you it’s not in stock and only give you store credit- no refund. Would like to file an official complaint with the States Attorney’s office and a class action. These guys are criminals with a website.
On 9-7-23 I placed an online order #56400 with Speed King Cycle for a set of ODI hand grips. On 9-18-23 I emailed for a status on the order. They informed me that the part was on back order with no delivery date available at this time. On 9-18-23 I requested a refund and they replied no problem allow 10-15 business days for processing refund. Ordered part on Friday afternoon. Company processed payment same day. FF 7 business days; company has yet to ship item. Asked to have order xamceled and have a refund processed and was assured the refund would be processed within 5 - 10 business days. FF again 11 business days; no refund. After three communications and failed refund had to submit a claim with my financial institution, State's Attoney General, BBB, and FTC before I could get a refund. STEER CLEAR OF THIS SELLER.
DO NOT BUY! Ordered part from company going off of images provided. Mounting point doesn't come close to matching (basically a female mount instead of male) and their only solution is to sell me more parts to so I can have what I already ordered and paid for. Not willing to take a return because I had to open the part to see it was wrong. Images don't match the part, and somehow it's MY fault. Very rude too!
