I was a bit surprised by some of these reviews (here and elsewhere), to be honest. I personally found Dr. Deegan to be engaging, friendly, approachable, patient, knowledgeable and extremely thorough. I didn't feel rushed at all, and given the seriousness of what I was seeing him for, I left the appointment grateful I'd been referred to him and confident that I was in very good hands
Told us my wife wouldn’t be able to drive because of ocular melanoma. Said his wife would have to assist with surgery. Went to Carol Shields in Philadelphia. Two years later she drives. Is alive. And doesn’t have an issue with hand eye coordination. DONT GO HERE.

Dr Deegan operated on our son the day after Christmas. Our son is 14 years old and Dr Deegan made him feel comfortable immediately. His staff is excellent too. Very personalized in their service approach. Great doctor!!!
