I experienced a health emergency over a year ag. I went through all of the steps and qualified for financial aid per Maine state law to have my bill eliminated. I received a call confirming that my bill would be taken care of and that my obligation was $0. I recommend ABSOLU NO NOTICE OF ANY OUTSTANDING BALANCES. Now 14 months later there is a collections notice on my credit report. This behavior is unethical and likely ILLEGAL. If you have the option, AVOID THIS GROUP AT ALL COSTS.

I really want to pit zero stars, but can not. I was looked at back in 2019. They said they sent a bill to my address, never received it. I would of paid it then. Got sent to collections. They said they call me to tell me about said bill. But never talked to any one about it. Now I am getting called about a bill that I never received, six years later. I have moved three time since the first bill and did the forwarding address for all moves. The doctors are great, billing sucks.

Had a procedure at Maine Med 2/2025. At that time , I had Anthem primary with Aetna secondary COB. Get several bills from Spectrum (which is annoying on its own, be nice to have one consolidated statement). I notice only Anthem has been billed. My wife calls them (4/2025) and tells them the billing needs to be updated. The worst. I had an MRI on Dec31. Got a NASTY collection letter for $13.77 on July 17.. I never received a bill of phone call for this. Impossible to reach them by phone to ask about the bill of why I was not contacted. The worst.
