Dr Hayhow is knowledgeable, kind and respectful. I was so nervous before my first appointment but left feeling validated and heard. The reception team were so kind and helpful too. Unfortunately did not get to meet Albie and I think this needs to be rectified immediately, please make him a full time staff member haha

EDITED TO ADD SINCE THEIR REPONSE Never mind striving to meet clients expectations, strive to operate within the legal constraints of Australian Consumer Law and not steal (because that's illegal) vulnerable people's money. To make it worse psychiatrists from the public system diagnosed me with paranoid ... read more

I have recently changed psychiatrist to the one at spectrum too and it has been an incredibly validating experience for me. I feel respected and as though I don’t need to hide. I will say - that the initial process of getting booked in for assessments, and getting the results of the assessments was a little more time consuming than my other providers thought it would be - and ... read more

I highly recommend Spectrum clinic. I first went to Spectrum clinic 3 years ago after having very bad experiences at other places. And it was great to finally feel I was being heard and understood. Having ASD, I felt my other mental health needs were being ignored. However, Dr Hayhow paid attention to and listened to my needs for my care. I also had bad experiences with medications where psychs would give “what works for everyone”. But Dr Hayhow considered all options and gave me the right medications that would suit me. He ... read more
