I was pressured to go to spectrum due to their reputation and my team organised it for me with little input from me. I was hurried into their programs with very poor communication. On the day of assessment it was cancelled. There were several delays as i then waited 9 months for treatment after assessment. Thankyou to everybody at spectrum that support me in group and individual sessions that helped me see what was going on in my life and the autism report was very thorough and helpful. Thanks to everyone for helping me

I was referred to Spectrum due to C-PTSD, as apparently they are the statewide experts in complex trauma. I found them anything but experts. In fact, some of their suggestions were downright dangerous and could have led to serious injury or death. Right from the intake, I was very clear as to how C-PTSD was significantly impacting on my life and what would improve my life. I feel that I was never listened to. A supposedly amazing dbt program, got called attention seeking and tried to override the other people in my care team, asked me to stop all medication and other treatments. Told me going to hospital during a crisis (which they triggered) was just attention seeking behavior. They only really started caring about what I needed and what was happening when I said I wanted to leave the program, I've then been bombarded with phone calls and meeting request to try and 'resolve' the issues.
