Very dissatisfied with the policies of Specs. They are priced higher than Total Wine and the only way to pay the same price is to pay cash. They also falsely claim they are giving you a case discount when they are not. I tried to speak to management about this issue, but they didn't seem to care and the store manager never bothered to get in touch with me. I will go to Total Wine where they don't play games and mislead you.
I just bought a 12 yr old Glendronach Scottish whisky from Specs. I paid $67 fo it. When i got home I checked out the price at other stores. They were all $54.99. I have been a customer at Specs for over 35 years. I personnaly knew Spec at his first store in downtown Houston. When he owned Specs they always had better prices than anyone else. The new owners have made Specs the highest price store for both liqure and cigars. I will not buy from todays Specs.
