Have taken two cars here for oil changes. Always fast service, very friendly, and helpful. They took me out to the car and showed me why they were recommending repairs. Prices are higher than smaller shops. I would trust the work they do though. Clean bathroom is a huge bonus and appreciated.
Though a young mechanic there gained my sympathy as likable, this otherwise has got to be hands down the most nightmarish car repair experience I ever had. You will end up being charged for things you didn''t ask done, and without being asked in advance if you want them done. You want to object? Too late they're done! Think of something like the movie "Deliverance" but at an auto repair shop.
Specialty Auto Care is my new mechanic going forward, all the way. I was so impressed and grateful - they got me in on a Saturday morning and had not only the horrible rattle in my car from a bolt but also did a general check, found and fixed a cracked belt, did an oil change and replace my air filter all in 2.5 hours. Thank you!
