Iam a GP with migraine history. He sorted out my management very well . He examined me carefully initially. His treatment was perfect . He has helped many of my patients and I have recommended many patients to him over the years . The field of neurology is a Pandora box . You cannot diagnose everything hence to blame a neurologist is incorrect and unwise .
Dr Geevasinga misdiagnosed my father, who was later confirmed to have CJD and was approximately six weeks from passing away at the time of our consultation. He attributed my father’s symptoms to conversion disorder and suggested that his illness was psychological rather than neurological. The consultation felt rushed and dismissive. I have been under A/Prof Nimeshan Geevasinga care for many years and will continue to see him until he retires. He has been exceptional with my care and able to guide me through different stages of my life. He always listens to my concerns and explains my options fully. Saw specialist A/Prof Nimeshan Geevasinga with a referral from Dr J McMaster Westmead. He was very thorough and worked quickly as the pain was excruciating. His reassurance whilst doing the test was great, helped take my mind off the test. I am seeing him Friday for the follow-up from the Nerve test.
