My Nana came here for her last couple of days, and the staff here was absolutely amazing. She was only there for 2 days before she passed, but while she was there the staff were so helpful, and very supportive, they made her comftable and also suported the family so amazingly, they made sure we had food as well, and made it such a better experience then dying in hospital. Heartfelt thanks to the team at Dove, who looked after my Dad Alan last week. We found everyone to be kind, considerate and compassionate, at a very difficult time for our family. Let’s not forget that the team at Dove constantly deal with very difficult and stressful situations, as families are coming to terms with the harsh reality of the loss of a loved one. Thank-you all so much. We won’t forget your care.

My mum was an inpatient at Dove for about 4 weeks and during that time mum and our family had a mixed experience. The majority of staff are very accommodating, caring and good at their jobs (especially Kym and Marilyn) but as a previous reviewer has noted there are some who bring the service down. Some nurses abruptly refused to provide essential care that other nurses at the facility were willing and qualified to provide. Unfortunately it only takes one or two horrendous nurses in there that turn this into a horrible experience. Especially while you know you're about to lose someone you couldn't imagine living life without. It takes it away from the beautiful nurses and Doctors because there were amazing ones. Some nurses shouldn't be allowed to work there! We will never forget this experience for many reasons

We had an appointment on Thursday regarding my grandfather's situation. Unfortunately, by Good Friday, his condition had worsened, prompting us to reach out, as previously arranged. However, their response was far from helpful; they simply instructed us to call an ambulance, which was not part of our initial plan.
