This place has made a scary topic so much more comfortable and lighter for us and our Dad. We visited Nicola and Rebecca yesterday for the first time, and from the outset (and the making of the appointment prior) we were made to feel safe, welcome and at ease. They know how to navigate the conversation easily and my Dad was brought to tears with how great they were. Kristel on reception was also so kind and accommodating, she is such an asset. Dr Nicola Hogan and Cognitive Occupational Therapist, Rebecca, are amazing! Their kindness, knowledge and understanding put my parents and I at ease. They made a difficult topic less scary and more hopeful with their gentle demeanor and light conversation. I recommend SMS to any families investigating or living with dementia. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. The level of care and empathy is like nothing we have experienced before. James and Laine are an amazing team that delivered a clear diagnosis with confidence and sympathy. I took my mother seeking answers and we got them, furthermore we came back with a holistic view of her health, not just the memory issue we were exploring.
