My wife Barbara had a wonderful time volunteering at this years event. She can't stop talking about it. She definitely "can't stop the feeling"!
I was able to volunteer through Cityfam this past Saturday (In Towson) It was such an amazing opportunity and I feel like I received so much through volunteering. It was such a joy and honor to spend time with amazing athletes with a zest for life!! I can't wait til next year!! I want in on that dance too..lol!!
My daughter has been in Special Olympics, Baltimore County for over 30 years. She competes in tennis, bocce and about 25 years in track and field. She loves competing. Her Special Olympic friends have a special place in her heart. I have become friends with so many of the families, coaches, etc. We are like "One Big Family" that truly cares for one another and are happy for the accomplishments of each athlete on the field and off.
