Tried recommending the shop to a friend and was very sad and disappointed to see that Special Effects is closed or so it would appear. Cindy is an amazing seamstress!! I hope she considers opening again. The QC needs more formalwear shops. Got my gown from here for my wedding in 2017, and it was perfect. Come back Cindy!!
I am in the parking lot waiting for the fitting of my dress and nobody is here. Nobody is answering the phone. My appointment was at 1 o’clock. Nobody called me to tell me anything. Please let me know what’s going on

Update! When I called they explained that they were shut down due to Covid and didn’t open up because they didn’t wish to comply with the governor’s requirements. The owner tried to make it a political discussion. At the time when this happened, the state was open again and when I pointed this out (politely) she must have misunderstood and thought I meant other stores were open, so she hung up on me after YELLING “Go to them then!” So I did.
