I could not recommend Special Beginnings enough, what an amazing group of birth professionals. The owner has curated a team that's knowledgeable, attentive, and caring. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
The Special Beginnings team is knowledgeable and nurturing, and they make you feel supported throughout the whole process and after birth. I had planned a natural birth in the birthing suites (which are lovely), and the team's knowledge led them to recommend that I go to the hospital, which ended up saving my child's life. I cannot recommend them more. With each appointment, I learned as a first-time mom and never felt rushed.
Book with them!! I was a patient of Special Beginnings in 2024 and again in 2026, and I cannot recommend them enough! As a first time mom, my husband and I were very intentional about finding prenatal care where I would feel seen, respected, and supported, and where our baby would receive the best possible care. We researched providers throughout the Triangle, interviewed Mrs. Adiah, and immediately knew that SBM would be a great fit for our family. This review is long overdue but as I'm coming up on my son's 3rd birthday, I'm recalling my incredible experience with Special Beginnings Midwifery and feel inspired to write publicly. Adiah and the rest of the Special Beginnings team set the stage for my motherhood.
