I had a hydraulic leak on my Mahindra tractor that I purchased from an out of state dealer. Initially, Spearfish Equipment refused to work on my machine since I hadn't bought it from them. I asked around and found one of the owners of the company and contacted him directly. He apologized and shed some light on the situation, which is all I'm going to say about that, and said if I still wanted to I was welcome to have my tractor serviced by them. EDIT: I just had a call with one of the owners of the dealership and it sounds like maybe there were some other factors at play that are getting resolved. My review will hopefully be updated in the near future. BEWARE, this dealership is literally refusing to work on my tractor because it wasn't purchased from them. I talked to the service department about having some work done on my Mahindra tractor and his literal reply to me was "The manager here does not want it in our shop because it wasn't purchased here." Please stay away from this place. Manager is extremely unprofessional. Was very rude to my elderly mother for not wanting to buy the same day we looked. After our first purchase I shouldn’t have came back but I thought it may have changed. After my first purchase any questions I had called to ask about I got told it wasn’t there problem I didn’t know how to operate my tractor.
Absolutely terrible experience. Parts lady was very unprofessional and rude. Manager was also very rude heard him tell an employee “if they didn’t buy from here they can be charged double what it would normally cost.” Would NEVER do business here. Please steer clear of this place.
Bryce and the team at Spearfish Equipment went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable and beyond helpful getting us into the right machine for the purpose needed. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning for future equipment needs.
