The Spear facility in Bayside Queens has a very friendly, helpful staff. The Physical Therapists are professional and know just what therapy your particular situation will need. The facility is clean and well lit with all the necessary equipment. I came to Spear needing PT after a knee replacement. I went to Spear Center (Bayside) after I suffered extremely bad sciatica pain which turned out to be caused by a herniated disc in my lower back - the pain was so severe I could barely stand straight and was mostly bedridden before my physical therapy sessions. I worked with Vivek at the Bayside location for approximately one year, from June 2025 up to June 2026. He guided me through physical therapy both before surgery, in an effort to avoid it, and later during my post-operative rehabilitation. One of Vivek’s strengths is his focus on proper form.
