I broke my arm a year ago and AK (and Spear) have been pivotal in helping me recover. AK came up with a plan to build back my range of motion and muscle. She was always willing to listen, offer advice, and update things as needed. She was extremely helpful and friendly, as were so many other staff members. I highly recommend AK and Spear.
This wasn't my first PT rodeo, including having obtained PT at two independent facilities and The Big Orthopedic Hospital. Diksha Behl provided personalized, hands-on post-surgical care, as did the therapy assistants at the practice. Sessions were twice as long as those at the hospital facility and took my individual needs and limitations into account. If you are looking for a Physical Therapist I highly recommend Spear. Everyone is so nice and my physical therapist is wonderful. I go to the one in Park Slope but I know they have many locations so there’s sure to be one near you!
My time at Spear was an incredible experience! I came in with a lat strain in quite a bit of pain and just graduated today feeling not only pain free, but stronger and more educated about my body. Akshada is SO good at what she does. She always made me feel cared for and listened to and celebrated my progress with me every step of the way. I’ll miss getting to have a laugh with her every week (even though, respectfully, I hope I never have to see her again )! Thanks for everything!!
