Jill came to see the jobsite and said she would have the estimate by the weekend along with the contract. I never received either, had to call Jill for the quote. We hired J Spear back in April to install a new electrical panel; upgraded to 200 AMP with surge protection. It is now July and we have had a major surge. We hired another electrician to inspect the issue only to find 1) surge protection had never actually been installed 2) it had never been inspected internally by the county 3) much of the work was done unprofessionally (see photos). Dave from Jill Spear was really great to work with. My power went out late at night on a Friday before an incoming snow storm. Dave came out to the house at 9pm and had my power up and running by 9:30pm. He was very kind and professional in his services, and his pricing was extremely fair as well. I am so grateful he was willing to help so late at night. Would highly recommend Dave and this organization.
I’ve had J Spear install a light, a new electrical outlet, and fix a bathroom switch that had stopped working. They’ve always done excellent work and the cost has been very fair. It’s also easy to schedule service. I highly recommend them!
We had a light switch short out on a Friday night. I called the next morning, the electrician showed up when expected and had it fixed and replaced quickly. Will definitely use them again!
