I’ve been an active SPEAR member since 2020. It’s the best decision I’ve made toward doing better dentistry. As a new grad I didn’t feel as confident about doing complex treatment plans. But after taking the occlusion and treatment planning courses, I feel much better about presenting more comprehensive treatment plans to my patients. Complete joke of a company. We had a part time travel agent trying to educate us on how to run our dental practice. Their motto does not work with FFS practices. Just money collectors, no educational value!!
If I could give my account manager Michael Gonzalez six stars, I absolutely would! He went above and beyond, taking time after work on a Friday to walk me through the entire Spear platform. That alone says so much about his dedication. He’s incredibly detail-oriented, professional, and welcoming, but also just naturally funny, which made the whole experience even better. Initially, when I started with Spear several years ago, I loved the program. I attended almost every workshop and seminar in their curriculum. I utilized their consulting services for a year, it ended poorly, almost as if they were trying to punish me for going in a different direction and not renewing for an additional year. They are a really great educational company. Their customer service has plummeted over the last 2 years I've been with them. Fees have increased as levels of service have decreased.
