I have had my spartan mower for two years. I am very disappointed in the gas shock to lower and raise the deck. I have had in the shop twice for the same problem that the deck will not lower all the way. I'm am ready to trade it in for a different brand.

I would not recommend this mower to anyone. I bought a RZPRO in July 2023. It has never cut right. It leaves a strip in the middle (mowhawks) the grass. I have talked to them. They have tried everything they know to fix it, including sending a new deck. I did swap out and put gator blades on it. They did turn the rpms up and I will say it is cutting "some" better, but at 6500.00, it should be much better than this. I am just sick over this mower. If you want this kind of cut...then buy one.
