I signed a contract with Spartacus in September of 2023 to build a ~400 sqft addition. The work was to be completed no later than February 2024 and was an “easy” job. More than a year later, they completed only rough framing and never finished the job despite that fact that I had paid a significant portion of the original contract price. This company has 9 lawsuits currently pending against them for failure to complete work after receiving payment. This company accepted payments from me in the amount of $88,442 and proceeded to never order materials or complete any work. It took months of legal action to obtain a partial amount of what was owed returned -- I have also talked to several other residents nearby that have similar situations..... I would look at the Yelp reviews before hiring these guys. I need some work done to my place. I’ll just do it myself.

Back in summer of 2023 we inquired with Spartacus construction for a two story addition. They were quick to give us a quote and explained that they had a full crew and did not have to sublet any work other than the masons. It was a reasonable price and he had availability to start the project in the fall. He was quick to communicate and answered all our questions. He was very charming and very personable.
