I wasn’t seen until 5pm for a 3:15 appointment, and I had arrived at 3pm like they ask. I was scheduled to see Jennifer Hawkins, who I had never met before. I was in the process of getting dressed to leave when the doctor knocked, I said just a minute and she opened the door anyway, and stood there in the door way with the door open so everyone in the hallway and the waiting area could see me changing. I had very good experiences throughout my entire pregnancy here. The office staff was always kind and the OBGYN's that I worked with were professional, knowledgeable, and took time to answer any questions or concerns that I had. At one point I started spotting when I was close to labor and when I called the office they directed me to the triage center at Sparrow. just so the public knows, they will reschedule you 3 hours before your appointment you've had scheduled for 6 weeks, THEN reschedule you a second time, but if you miss the rescheduled appointment by "their rules" they can refuse to see you or reschedule you at all. EVEN IF you call to try to figure it out. I'm beYOND pissed, and this is the most unprofessional exchange I have ever had with a doctors office. their recommendation is fake apologies and to "call around for other OBs". absolutely ridiculous.
