Pre surgery review: 100/10 I love my team. I see DrJennifer R. McCaskill & Hannah Dankert , nothing but wonderful people. I have never felt so listened too & seen by a care team. I have issues with health for going on 12 years & my weight has gone up with it. They answered all my questions & made me feel comfortable. I will have surgery in August sometime. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Dr. Obinwanne listens and advises carefully. He is a great surgeon. The support of this pre- and post-surgery is steadfast. I recommend this staff to anyone in the position to desire this tool to assist them on their journey.
I have been going through the bariatric program for the past five months and the support I’ve had from U of M Sparrow has been nothing short of wonderful. They are responsive to all of my questions, friendly, supportive, and have made this daunting process more than smooth. I began my weight loss journey with SMG Bariatrics Group in February 2023. I just completed my surgery one month ago. I feel FANTASTIC!! I am 50plus pounds lighter than when I started....healthier....more fit.... active and back to feeling like myself. I have a journey ahead of me but am well on my way to a new healthier future. Terrible experience. After catching them in a lie they “dismissed” me from their program due to the reason that they decided I would be miserable if I continued there. After I put in so much work to be there. The manager lied when we got there saying there was no record of me calling them. We had the unpleasant experience of showing my phone records to her explaining that I had called and left numerous messages.
