Ive been coming here for years. I would recommend them 100%. The employees are always friendly and very accomodating when i need to board last minute. Ive also gotten my dog groomed there. Ive never had a problem.

I have been a dog groomer in Saginaw, MI for over 20 years and have seen some deplorable things in my time. Today, unfortunately, I had another horrible experience to add to my list. A client of mine had just had their dog groomed by me prior to boarding her at Sparkys Doggie Barn - she left here looking & smelling gorgeous. After 5 days of boarding, my client was forced to bring the dog back to me for bathing - she smelled horrendous. As much as I hate to have to say this, this place has really gone down hill over the past few years. I used to always feel comfortable going there, but the last few visits have not been good. It seems as if some of the staff have not had the proper training. When you ask questions or voice your concerns, you are simply greated with an attitude basically making you feel they dont need your business anymore and they dont really care. I totally dont like this place. They have unprofessional employees. I was treated badly especially from an employee named Jill. She cut my dogs hair totally wrong. I dont know what she was thinking about. It seemed like she was thinking about things besides her work. It was totally unprofessional in how she did the cutting of my dogs hair. Hopefully the business can do something about her attitude towards customers. I am not the only one she has had problems with.
First time i left my dog and he came home happy and didnt want to leave!! Would definately recommend
I am so upset with my puppys haircut I simply want to cry. For starters, I made an appointment for 9:30 am and my shih tzu was not ready until 4:40 pm!!!!! 7 hours to groom a 12 lb. puppy is a bit ridiculous. While shih tzus are fluffy and do tend to get knotted, I realized that they would probably have to trim him quite a bit. Miraculously they were somehow able to comb out all of the knots on his body, enabling them to cut minimally around the body, which SHAVING HIS HEAD.
