Everything started great while we were at the bar. JD deserves a raise. He is a great bartender. We got sat by Alex and our server with Jordyn and Christina. Everything went well until it’s starting to get very very hot. We sat in a very hot area along with other customers work planning. It was very hot. I'm not one who rates restaurants and bars, however, we left Sparks Water Bar so shocked at our treatment, thought I would take the time to write a review. Came in for late lunch and a cocktail. Service was slow but server pleasant. Sat in bar area. Food finally arrived (didn't get the second cocktail I ordered). Husband's $23 filet mignon burger ordered cooked medium was overcooked to the point of being burned. We had an amazing dinner at Sparks Water Bar! We ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Salad, the Filet & Scampi, two glasses of red wine, and finished with the Chocolate Ice Cream Pie. Everything was absolutely delicious! The salmon was perfectly cooked, the filet was tender and flavorful, and the scampi was cooked just right. The dessert was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Oh my gosh. Traveling through on our way home to Idaho. Stopped at Residence Inn Sparks to sleep. On a whim we went to Sparks Water Bar. What an absolute delight. We were promptly seated and our server, Alyssa?, not sure of spelling, was as personable as can be. She knew the menu and recommended I try the Angus ribeye.
