Bad area but great staff This hospital is on the North side of town in a less than desirable area. For this reason, it is not considered by most to be the Best hopsital in town. However, I have been here many times and while the wait in the emergency room is usually very long, once they get you in a room, the service is usually great. The nurses are kind and efficient. They actually listen to you and take your thoughts into consideration.
A nice hospital in the middle of town! Sparks Regional Medical Center in a nice, centrally located hospital. It has great doctors and nurses and state fo the art equipment. Some areas of the hospital are in need of renovations, but that appears to be happening throughout the hospital. A safe, comfortable, place to be hospitalized. PROS: centrally located, great doctors and nurses CONS: some areas really need remodeling
Mr 2 years ago my wife had surgery at Sparks. I was much impressed with the timely,effecient, on time service. Today she had surgery again. We waited 3hrs. and 15 min before service after being told to be there on time. Obviously the ability to tell time has been lost as well as effeciency. That is regretable but it speaks to an overal attitude prevelent today which is "So What or who cares" I could never again recommend Sparks. Sorry, Lynn Blackburn Bokoshe,OK
