The dumbest doctor I have ever met. It's playing stupid how she slams the door and basically says that I should die because if I don't take something that can kill me or let them do whatever then they won't even help me but my temperature is running up to like over 99 degrees when it's normally 97.3 but won't give me any antibiotics and want me to go back to a doctor that did that to me and could have killed me and gave stuff to me illegally. which is why I was in the emergency room in the first place. but can't even give me... read more
Went in for a terrible ear infection. Saw 4 different people in the room. 1 was a doctor? Not even sure. Spent maybe 10 min. there. They told me to go pick up the meds at the pharmacy i asked for when I got checked in (Andersons). Didn't do anything at all when I was there. Nothing. Then when I got to Andersons, they called and said to come back to get the meds... do not recommend. Go to Mercy instead of you can.
Neither Baptist nor Mercy will treat you, but at least Baptist will tell you to your face they won't treat you.
My daughter was seen by the same ER doctor mentioned in Mr. Porter's review. Frankly, I can't imagine going to the ER and demanding specific tests. I’d ask Mr. Porter where he got his medical degree. My daughter came in with a headache—something her primary doctor and a neurologist had already evaluated and missed. Within five minutes, the ER doctor recognized something was wrong and insisted on a head scan. We hesitated due to cost, but his attention to detail revealed a life-threatening issue. I went to the emergency department on 5-23-25 and I cannot express how wonderful it was! I came in with chest pains and thought I was having a heart attack. My nurse Mikelah was so amazing she checked everything and made me feel so comfortable! Then my Doctor, Dr. Ireland was also amazing. She did a full exam and checked everything and I ended up being admitted for further testing! Then Gail was also amazing she comforted me and took excellent care of me!
